Our Story

Bom Hilton is a single mom of two young boys. Originally from Korea, Bom spent years living in California before moving to Idaho a few years ago. Bom’s main goal in life is to raise her boys successfully, and to do that; she feels it is important to invest in herself by maintaining a life commitment to learning and community.

Bom holds an Associate in Arts degree in Hospitality. Bom has resumed her education journey through her current pursuit of a new degree in Finance. Bom shares that during her education journey, she was lead to start her own search for nannies as her oldest son was going through some challenges at school and she struggled to balance both roles. After calling several places in Boise, Bom found that only one service answered to provide a possible solution for her childcare needs. The processes were not clearly defined and she felt as though she could not trust them, so she gave up.

This experience lead Bom to really explore childcare focused businesses that could help other parents in the Boise area. The philosophy at Oliver’s Nannies is what really drew Bom towards owning her very own!

Some businesses are centered more on profits, but to Bom, it is more about working together in the best way to provide solutions for both local families and nannies. She strongly believes there is no one who is less than or above her.

One thing that is of utmost importance to Bom is people and fair treatment. As a believer in karma, Bom follows the mantra of treating others the way she would like to be treated. Bom cares about people first instead of materials and believes that mindset is what will set her apart as a local business owner in Boise. She also values giving back to my community because collaboration absolutely leads to better work.

In her free time, Bom loves outdoor activities and travel. Whenever she has free time, Bom goes out with her boys and enjoy nature in Idaho! Bom likes to live by the following quote from Mahatma Gandhi, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”. Bom is looking forward to providing a solution that she herself has needed to other parents in the area!
